Workflow. Importing, organizing, exporting, saving, posting. If I lost you here, don’t leave quite yet. This can be really intimidating but it’s important. I can make it understandable. I promise.
Editing Photos. I’ll let you in on a little secret - pretty much all the photos you see online have been edited. And with a few quick edits your photos can go from meh to Holy Moly!
Story Telling. Let’s do more than make pretty photos. Let’s together learn how to tell the story of your adventure, whether that is in a foreign land, or the local farmer’s market.

VIP Day
The VIP Day is for you if you want to learn a lot in a short amount of time. Maybe you’re preparing for a specific trip, event, or maybe you’re just ready to make better photos NOW.
Here’s what a VIP Day with Diane looks like…
— You’ll send photos from your last trip(s), and let her know of any specific situation or technique you’re interested in learning about..if you have any.
— We’ll develop a personalized plan of learning for specific items/situations that might include: camera skills, exposure, lighting, composition, storytelling with your photos, equipment, location or event specific tools, photo editing.
— We’ll meet for 3 hours (with a break, of course!) on our scheduled morning and you’ll learn all about your planned topics.
— For the remainder of the day, you’ll have access to Diane via email and/or Voxer for answering any questions that come up from our time together.

Photo Feedback Session
Specific feedback on your photos to help you pinpoint what could be better and figure out how to make your photos look like you want them to look.
This is what a Photo Feedback Session with Diane will look like:
— You’ll fill out a brief questionnaire telling me what you’re frustrated with or confused about when it comes to your photos and photography skills. Or if you don’t know specifics, you can tell me you want general guidance - I can do that too.
— Then you’ll send a few of your photos for me to review and we’ll schedule your mentoring session. Don’t worry, you’ll get specific instructions on exactly how to do all of that.
— We’ll meet on Zoom for an hour and look at your photos together. I’ll give you my feedback on some techniques that could improve not just those specific photos, but your photo creation skills overall.
Whether it's an issue with composition, exposure, your camera settings, storytelling, or even editing, we’ll problem-solve on a live call so you can see exactly how I troubleshoot your work. We will talk about where you are in your photography journey, where you want to be, and how you can get there.
You’ll have a chance to ask questions about your photography skills, equipment, and even your confidence as an artist. I know there is a whole lot more to creating photos than just a camera. Or light. A lot of it exists inside of you...and we can talk about that too.
